Traditional free preparatory math classes.
Creation of a test consisting of 12 mathematics problems at intermediate and advanced difficulty levels.
After ranking the candidates who passed the entrance exam, the top 20 with the highest scores are selected.
Užice Gymnasium traditionally offers free preparatory math classes.
The preparation includes five subject areas and a mock entrance exam. Schoolwork will also be supported through Google Classroom.
In addition to these classes, students can attend free online preparatory lessons organized by the "Center for Young Talents" Foundation. For this option, registration is done through the CMT website.
The entrance exam includes mathematics and is usually held at the end of May or the beginning of June. The entrance exam for 2025 will take place on May 17th.
The exam tasks are of intermediate and advanced levels. A minimum of 120 out of 240 points is required to pass the exam.
The entrance exam is held at the Užice Gymnasium. It is recommended that students complete a mock exam, which is usually held a few days before the actual exam. Simpler types of calculators are allowed during the entrance exam.
At the end, the points from the mathematics entrance exam, the points carried over from school, and the points from the final exam taken by all eighth-graders are summed.
